Kyle's Last Day of School for the Summer

Kyle goes to preschool two days a week. This was a fun water day afternoon so I showed up to snap some pics and Lacey joined in too. The above pic is Kyle and his friend Landon whom he talks about often.

Water Day at the Zoo

We met up with some friends at the zoo today. The children's area was definitely the most fun place and just couldn't resist playing in the water!

We were able to watch Dakota's Taekwondo class. He broke his first board that week! Way to go Dakota!

Why Would Lacey be Making this Face?

I have to admit that they are pretty scary looking to me too! This is an emu which looks to me like an ostrich just smaller. Kyle kept calling an ostrich a "sausage". "Look mommy at all the sausages!" "You better watch out. That sausage is going to BITE you!"

Doug and I took Kyle and Lacey and Madison and Dakota (my niece and nephew) to the drive-thru 'Wildlife Safari'. We had so much fun.
We were very "daring" driving with our windows down. I was looking the other way when Madison was squealing for me to hurry and roll my window up. I turned and looked and barely got it closed before this zebra stuck his nose inside the car!
