We met up with friends and went Bonkers! We had so much fun! Here is Lacey and Bailey. Kyle was climbing and moving through the tunnels so fast that I couldn't keep up with him. I have to admit that I had a lot of fun too climbing through the maze and especially going down the huge slide. I would put Lacey down the slide first then wait for her to move out of the way. I would fly down that thing and Lacey thought it was the funniest thing watching me zoom past her. This is a must do over!
At preschool this week they had a special day for dads. So daddy got to go to school with Kyle and eat some donuts before class started. This meant so much to Kyle. The day before, Kyle kept telling me he was so excited that daddy was going to go to school with him and that all his friends would get to see his daddy! Kyle told me he was sad and cried when daddy had to leave and go to work. He said he missed his daddy. So sweet.
I really enjoy getting to spend time with Lacey. I used to take Kyle to these same classes when he was her age and had so much fun. She is loving this!
We spent a beautiful and warm day at the arbo with friends. We spent most of our time today in the pioneer village and then went for a short walk. I tried my best to get a good picture of Kyle and Lacey together but this was the best I could do. I was told that Kyle was making pancakes here in this picture.
Lacey posed for me in this picture. She likes the camera and will give me a cheese grin a lot of the time. She pretended that this little hill was a slide and said "whee" as she scooted all the way down the wet and dirty "slide".

Daddy came home from work and brought Lacey a barbie doll. She was so excited and just like a girl she was fascinated with changing the doll's shoes. She sat there for a very long time just taking the shoes off and putting them back on again.
So sweet!
Since it is January, we have been talking a lot about winter and snowmen and wishing for snow. So we made cookies and called them snowballs. Kyle wanted to ice them blue.
Kyle said, "I was putting blue icing on the cookies mommy. I wasn't eating the icing." I see.....
